The online Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences from LAPU equips students with professional knowledge and practical skills they need for a career in the health science professions. This entirely online program asks students to select an emphasis area, such as General Psychology, Health Care Management, and Human Services among others, to tailor the program to their personal interests and goals.

A Bachelor of Public Health’s mission is to enhance students’ understanding of the core values and concepts of public health, along with its history and philosophy. Students will gain practical skills and learn to use tools and technologies that will prepare them to solve real-world problems in public health, including analyzing healthcare data, implementing quality improvement initiatives, managing healthcare projects, and ensuring compliance with healthcare laws and regulations. By combining theoretical knowledge with practical applications, the program aims to produce graduates who are critical thinkers, problem solvers, and effective leaders in the healthcare industry.

The online Master of Public Health (MPH) program built to align with competencies defined by the Association of Schools and Programs of Public Health (ASPPH) and core functions outlined by the World Health Organization (WHO). You’ll receive a solid foundation in the major elements of public health—including biostatistics, epidemiology, health services administration, environmental health sciences, and social and behavior sciences—all taught from a Christian worldview.
