Is LAPU Expensive?

LAPU is California’s most affordable online Christian university. We deliberately keep tuition as low as possible to make a quality higher education more accessible to more people.

How can you keep tuition so low?

We are 100% online. With no dorms or buildings to maintain or athletic department to fund, all our resources go towards delivering a high-quality education.

How long will it take to complete my degree?

We offer 3 semesters per year, split into two sessions each - Fall sessions 1 and 2, Spring sessions 1 and 2, and Summer sessions 1 and 2. This allows people to finish up to 50% faster than the traditional 2 semester schedule. Transfer credits from other colleges will shorten that even further!

How qualified are the instructors/faculty?

Our teaching model is based on a faculty “practitioner” model. This means that, in addition to their academic credentials, all our instructors have professional, real-world experience in the areas they teach. For example, some of our Criminal Justice courses are actually taught by a current city police chief. Every program operates under this practitioner model.
